BB&T Rolls Out CONIX's Dupe Detective™

Winston-Salem-based BB&T Corp. rolled out CONIX Systems' (Manchester, Vt.) Dupe Detective solution, which prevents double postings of payments to customer accounts and duplicate payments to correspondent banks. BB&T is using the solution in its check, image exchange and ACH production environments to reduce fraud and other liability risks across multiple channels. According to the bank, the solution allows BB&T to resolve duplicates without involving the customer.
