• STGM's on-line string directory allows you to locate and display only those strings in which you are interested. You can display strings based on Cycle, String Name Mask, Bank, Sort Type, Endpoint, Status or any of the commonly used string flags. You can also print the string directory list, browse strings using optional OLSI^®, move or delete strings, or call your bank’s software to process the string(s) you selected.
• Run out of time trying to get those rehandles done? STGM can move strings to the next cycle and you can immediately start processing those rehandles with the next day’s work! And STGM can do this without you having to close a cycle or to stop processing in any way and you don’t have to bounce CPCS!
• On-Line screens are easy to use; just enter any string display criteria and press <enter>.
• Generate string directory lists - STGM will print the names and related information for the strings that fit your selection criteria. The report is in an easy-to-read, one line per string format.
• Save Paper, Time, Money: STGM is the easiest and quickest way to find, delete, move, browse and perform a command for a string in CPCS. Find strings that need additional processing or require supervisor intervention - it is also a great way to start application tasks which require string input. STGM can execute tasks in the background (task auto-started) or foreground (task called) without having to manually provide the input parms needed to execute.
• Generate Test Data: The On-line Test Aid™ (TAID™) system is also included with STGM. TAID provides support for extracting items from one or more strings into a simulated sorter file or a file that can be used for power encoding or laser printing of test documents. It also can create record ID, pocket summary and reject analysis reports.
