For years, CONIX software has been the preferred software for balancing, cash letter creation, and managing item processing operations. Products such as ORBS^®, TCM^® and CLAS^® are used by financial institutions and the Federal Reserve to process over 80 billion checks each year. CONIX has worked closely with its customers to continually enhance these products to keep pace with the evolution of check processing.

Although these products are used to process over 80% of the checks written in the US each year, we have not rested in our efforts to find better, more efficient ways to improve item processing. The CONIX Integrated Payment System takes the proven functionality of our item processing technology to a new level. CIPS integrates the entire item processing process from front to back, so that actions taken in one application are reflected throughout the process. For example, adjustments made in balancing are reflected through to kill and cash letter processing.

We’ve added a new browser interface to facilitate operator training and reduce the learning curve for new employees. The new browser interface means that CIPS functions can now be performed from any location with internet access. Balancing can be done remotely. Support can be simplified by providing support personnel access from home. Workload can be distributed among sites. And each capture site can now become a “hot site” for disaster recovery.
