The AMRG (Automatic Merge) System provides the capability of automating
the CPCS Merge (MRGE) task. This allows the Balancing Department to
reconcile entries almost immediately after rejects have been corrected
without manual intervention.
Benefits:
- AMRG is 100% compatible with CPCS V1R11 and
retrofittable.
- AMRG is a called function so there is no need to bounce CPCS or a
CHAP. Since AMRG is a called function, there is no need to bounce the
CPCS region. In addition, since it is not a CPCS task, there's no need
to CHAP any modules.
- AMRG can be fully installed without activating functionality.
- All CPCS modifications and CONIX Systems modules can be fully
installed without activating AMRG functionality. To activate AMRG, a
single line of code is modified in the AMRG source program.
- Utility task assures AMRG Control File/Mass Data Set synchronization.
CONIX Systems supplies a task to keep the AMRG Control File and the
CPCS Mass Data Set synchronized. It is manually started to either
synchronize the AMRG Control File to the CPCS Mass Data Set or to
synchronize the CPCS Mass Data Set (via CPCS cycle) to the AMRG
Control File.
- AMRG is fully compatible with CONIX Systems'
ESPR® (Early SubPass & Rejects Release)
system.
